Painted in July 2021, this is a view of Space Shuttle Atlantis as it’s displayed at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex—the same view we had when my dear fiancé proposed to me in May. In the background, where the projection screen would be, I’ve loosely rendered a view of auroras over the earth as seen from the ISS (view photo). This will always be a special place for us!
